Cosplay coming up!

It's May at the moment, and around 20 days until our group hurries up to London for MCM Expo.

We're all so excited, and I wanted to show you what we're cosplaying this May!

I am so excited, it's very different to what we've done so far, and I think als

o is another big step we've taken in the quality of our cosplays. We're also getting better at sewing and so hopefully soon we'll take the load off the main sewer (balbal) who basically makes ALL the costumes! She's a fairy though. We've all been ordering our swords and painting and lacing the handles. Who knew a piece of wood could be so expensive though!? They're like £18 per piece. It's very hard

to find cosplay props, so they tend to be expensive :/

I'm looking foward to my wig, although I am jealous of Chazza's as she has a massive ponytail, much longer than Chizuru's so no, I won't be the prettiest pony :(

MCM Expo May 2011 + Highschool of the dead

cosplayed Highschool of the dead to MCM Expo! 

It was loads of fun and we got to talk to some

of our friends and other amazing cosplayers too! 

It was a great weekend!

Welcome to Cosplay

If you're reading this blog then I'm sure that you cosplay. If you

don't know what cosplay is then let me show you.

Cosplay is where you dress up as characters from

anime shows or manga. It's a hobby but you can also

make money from it.

Some people buy their costumes, others choose to make theirs.

I am in a cosplay group called Lunatics With Lemonade 

(LwL)

We have been cosplaying for 3 years now.

We attend MCM Expo in London.

We make our cosplays, with mainly one member of LwL

(Lucy) making the majority of it, and sometimes

we help with like..gluing stuff :P 

So far we have cosplayed:

Hellsing,

That's what we've done so far. On this blog I'll be posting some pictures

from the expo we attend and the photoshoots we do. Also cosplayers that are amazing
